October’s arrival brings several changes to our region. Changes in weather, changes in landscape colors, changes in sports. This year, Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) is planning to bring a change of its own. October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month, and after a year that saw many high-profile attacks with far-reaching implications, PHL wants to change the public’s perspective of cybersecurity.

Prime Flight Aviation Services Wheelchair Assistant Leodel Adrien recently received the “Caring Support” award in the inaugural round of PHL’s Airport Employee Recognition Program. This award recognizes those who provide exceptional care and services to seniors, families with young children, disabled passengers, and others with special needs. These employees, like Adrien, make sure travel is smooth, easy, and enjoyable for everyone.

Atlantic Aviation is a fixed base operator (FBO) with locations across the United States. Atlantic’s Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) location recently finished a major renovation project that included modernizing and improving technology and a complete rebuild of the lobby, offices, conference rooms and other amenities. Construction lasted six months and the newly remodeled facility opened in summer 2021.  

The September 20th announcement that, beginning in November, the United States will ease restrictions that have prevented citizens from 33 countries since March 2020, was especially welcomed by Philadelphia International Airport (PHL).

Prime Flight Aviation Services Line Queue Attendant Tonia Davis recently received the “Impression-makers” award in the inaugural round of PHL’s Airport Employee Recognition Program. This award recognizes frontline customer-facing employees, who provide direct customer service.  

When planning travel, small details that can easily be overlooked can make or break a trip. For example, do you know how you are getting from the airport to your final destination? Do you need ground transportation services? Is public transit available? How do you get to the rental car office? Are you familiar with the airport’s layout?

Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) was recently ranked as part of the J.D. Power 2021 North America Airport Satisfaction Study, and the results of that study emphasize the great need for infrastructure investment at PHL.
